Sitting at Red Dot one night, we overheard “falafel” and “Hudson” used in the same sentence. Ears perked up. My OH asked the bartender if she had heard about this and she said that TWO falafel places were possibly opening up. The first one will hopefully open in a couple of months on the 200 block of Warren (where? where?) and the other may open up in the building of many past uses (Jamaican restaurant, proposed/actual strip club, etc) on the park at 7th Street.
Wow.

Hi! Any luck finding falafel at lower Warren St.? Will try the Pizza & falafel shop anyway cause I miss, no, need falafel! Any update when it’s to open? Please keep me posted (it’s a haul to Hudson ) & would love to hear your comments about these places…thanks!

I cannot find the second place, which I had heard would open first! That makes me a rumor-mongerer I suppose. There are many of us who need falafel, and even the Israeli I know will surely break his boycott of the place on the park sooner rather than later. Falafel is a powerful thing…
